Members of the public are usually the ones who witness cases of High- Rise Syndrome in Cats. However, according to the survey conducted with 151 individuals, 86.1% of them do not know what to do when they encounter such an incident. Therefore, this page tells you the necessary steps and contact details of whom you can contact to get help from.

If you ever witness an injured cat, you have two available options:

​

  1. ​Bring the cat to the nearest vet clinic. Do so with the upmost care to prevent further injury to the cat.

​

   2. Contact SPCA 24- Hour emergency hotline @62875355 ext 9.

​

       Provide them with the necessary details:

  • The condition of the cat

  • Your name

  • Contact number 

​

  • They will dispatch their Animal Rescue Officers (AROs) to your location as soon as possible. If the cat is found in a dangerous place such as the road, do help by bringing it to a safer area if possible.
